Brick and Mortar Stores in Region 12

Hello ATHA Region 12 members,

Please note that I’ve added a new menu item to this website.  We now have a place for rug hooking related stores.  If you have a store or know of one and would like to see it listed here, please send me the information.

Take a look at the stores now listed:

The ReCrafting Co. in Alameda accepts quality recycled quilting, knitting, rug hooking, needlework and other crafting supplies on consignment and offers them for sale at affordable prices.

The Wool Lady in Old Town Temecula sells hand-dyed wools, yarns, and rug hooking supplies.  I visited The Wool Lady, Ruth Molina, last Saturday and was made to feel very welcome.  Ruth’s store is full of items I wanted to purchase and I came home with some very nice wool, yarn, and incidentals.  If you’re in the southern California area, take a little time to visit the town of Temecula.  The Old Town area has many stores, eateries, and special events.

    Gail,

Thanks for the update. Sounds like two places I want to visit! Is Temecula close to San Diego?

When the Poppies visit you in December, I will bring the raffle rug and wools so we can continue color planning. Looks like Tess will be driving with at least 5 of us coming.

We are leaving November 13th for Australia and New Zealand returning on December 5th. I really need to start thinking about what I am going to pack!

The Wool Lady is a great resource in Temecula. She has beautiful dyed wool and is a great supporter of area hookers!
